Meet Bindi

Background

She holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and is licensed by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Her specialized training includes feeding and sensory integration, motor skill development, and social-emotional regulation, all of which are thoughtfully woven into her therapeutic approach.

Why She Does What She Does

Watching a child make progress—no matter how big or small—is deeply rewarding to her. She finds joy in seeing children light up as they master new skills or overcome challenges that once felt impossible. She founded Play Connections to create a supportive, nurturing space where children can thrive and where parents feel empowered and actively involved in their child’s growth.

Approach

She believes that every child is unique and strives to create a personalized, engaging experience that feels more like play than therapy. By using play as a therapeutic tool, she helps children develop essential skills while building confidence and self-esteem. Collaboration with families is a cornerstone of her work, and she partners closely with parents to ensure strategies can be seamlessly carried over into daily life at home.

Beyond Therapy

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the climbing gym, exploring nature, being with her family, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She is always looking for creative ways to bring fun, curiosity, and innovation into both her life and her work.
